These are some of the favorite recipes of the Sublett family and their friends; by no means does it represent all of them.
notes
This is an electronic cookbook. Click on an entry in the index at left to be shown related recipes. You may also type a word in the search box above to be taken to recipes that contain the word. (Try it with “chocolate”, for example.)
Click on the title of a post / recipe to reveal the link to add a comment. If you click the “Welcome” title you can leave a comment here about the recipes or cookbook as a whole. If you're a Sublett or a friend of the family and have a missing recipe or one I didn't yet think of, please send it along or let me know where to find it! (If you're really ambitious, you can type the recipe in your comment and I'll format it for the site.)
conventions
A name beneath a recipe is that of the name of the person who introduced the recipe to the family or is noted for having made the recipe regularly, not necessarily the originator of the recipe itself. The notation “similar” indicates the recipe is similar to, or the closest match for, a recipe for which that person is noted.
I have tried to “voice” all the recipes the same way so that there is uniformity in the way ingredients are listed and the methods are explained. Doing so may slightly alter the wording of the recipe as originally written; however, the outcome should be the same.
Bon appétit!
