Cocoa Mix

ingredients
1 lg. box Nestlé Quick
1 box Carnation Instant Milk (8 qt.)
1 lg. jar Cremora or Pream
2 cups powdered sugar
method
Mix all together well; add heaping teaspoons to hot water.

Don’t buy generic products … sometimes you get what you pay for, and in this instance, it's definitely true.

Monkey Bread

ingredients
4 oz. butter or margarine (1 stick)
1 cup brown sugar, packed
3 pkgs. Pillsubry biscuits (7.5 oz.)
method
Preheat oven to 350°. Grease a bundt pan well; otherwise the bread will stick and won’t come out.

Melt butter or margarine, add brown sugar, and stir until smooth. Layer biscuits in bundt pan and pour brown sugar mixture over top.

Bake for 30 minutes.

Apple Pork Roast

ingredients
3 lb. pork roast
1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 can apple pie filling (~21 oz.)
method
Combine vinegar, sugar, and filling in bottom of slow cooker. Add roast, cook as below.

Cook on LO 6 – 7 hours

Cranberry Pork Roast

ingredients
3 lb. pork roast
1 can jellied cranberry sauce
1/2 cup cranberry juice
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp. ground mustard
1/4 tsp. ground cloves

2 Tbsp. water
2 Tbsp. corn starch
method
Combine all ingredients in slow cooker, cook as below; remove from slow cooker to make sauce. Slice roast and return to slow cooker, add sauce, and serve.

Remove roast from slow cooker and skim fat from juices. Add enough water to make 2 cups of liquid. Whisk together water and corn starch and add to juices. Boil on medium-high heat in small saucepan until desired thickness.

Cook on LO 7 hours

Macaroni and Cheese

ingredients
1/2 cup margarine
1-1/2 cups milk
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 Tbsp. flour
1 cup cheese, shredded, divided
2 cups macaroni, elbow OR
2-1/2 cups macaroni, shells
method
Preheat oven to 350°. Cook macaroni and set aside.

Combine first five ingredients and heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until a sauce forms. Add in shredded cheese and stir until melted. Pour over cooked macaroni and place in a casserole dish. Sprinkle with a bit of shredded cheese. 

Bake for 25-30 minutes.
