Crock-Pot®­­ Apple Butter

16 cups apples (12 – 14)
1-1/3 cups sugar
1-1/2 tsp. cinnamon, ground
1/4 tsp. clove, ground
1/8 tsp. allspice, ground
Peel, core, and roughly chop apples, reserving the peel. Add apples and peel to slow cooker and cook on low setting for 10 – 12 hours.

Remove peel and discard. Process apples in food mill or sieve.

Add spices and cook on low setting for 1-1/2 hours.

Will keep in refrigerator for one month, or freeze.
