Bar-B-Que Sauce

8 cloves garlic, minced
8 tsp. salt
2 cups vegetable oil
32 oz. tomato sauce
4 cups red wine vinegar
3 cups Worchestershire sauce
1-1/3 cups brown sugar (white may be used)
2 tsp. black pepper
4 tsp. thyme
4 tsp. rosemary
2 tsp. oregano
Sauté garlic, salt, and oil for 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and simmer 20 minutes.

Keeps indefinitely in a glass jar without refrigeration. May also be used as a marinade. Especially good for venison, but also for ribs, chicken, etc.
